WOOHOOS I smell liberation soon!

and I just did a check on the website ranking, so happy that for some unknown reasons,

I cant wait to sleep like the whole of Sunday away.

and surprisingly, my mother was very happy

when I told her I want to sleep til in the evening, just before our reunion dinner at 9pm.

haha. I think she’s super concerned that I have not been sleeping well for the last 1-2 months.

and my aim for this CNY break til next Thursday is to start booking the hotels hostels for the trip,

dig out my necessary winter wear (totally cant rem where they are after 3yrs)

I am feeling super drained, like totally.

Mentally very tired but cant get to sleep.

I am a, hmm heavy sleeper?

Difficult to fall asleep and difficult to wake me up. lol.

Only slept from 10am-12noon yesterday and I woke up to a panic attack.

Received a message from a friend on FB recently and it really made me very tempted to attempt.

For the past 1-2 yrs, nothing has ever tempted me to entertain the thought of giving up what I am doing currently.

But this time round, it did.

And I actually entertained the idea and thought about the pros and cons.

hmmm hmm. sounds very exciting to me. and I wonder if I am willing to give up.

Ultimately it boils down to what we want in life.

A mundane or exciting life? Money vs exposure.

Passion Vs money Vs experience and the likes etc.

LSR told me to go for it, it made me even more tempted to try. lol.

From that night, I got to know myself even better.

I realised I get tempted very easily.

Thats why I always get cheated by those “evil powers”‘

and I make really bad choices looking back at 2011.

I think with CNY coming, this feels more like the end of a year for me.

Maybe its now my turn to look back and reflect on 2011 during this CNY break.

to be honest, I never thought that I will ever step foot into a Disney Land this life time because cartoons were never my cup of tea

I have never watched Mickey mouse cartoon before hence I cant understand the attractiveness of Disney

To me its not a place where dreams come alive. lol.

As we have too many days for the trip, and we have been going to Shibuya and doing nothing much like every day

henc eI decided to purchase the tickets for Disney when I saw it available at a conbini.

Its like the earliest day that we ever woke up for the entire trip. I think 6.45am for Anna, and me at a later timing. lol

most of the other days, we are just way too tired and woke up like between 10-12 each day.

I think its the weather. It makes us tired easily. lol

And erm, here goes!

we were there on 17th Nov, and because we lost count of the dates, we thought we were there on Mickey’s birthday!

The Japanese love Mickey.. and they are damn on in dressing up can.

Like everyone is wearing some of the character’s merchandise.

there was long queue to meet and hug Mickey:

the young and old all loved Mickey..

except me! so I didnt bother to queue up lol

Anna didnt managed to take pictures with Mickey, but she managed to take with this (erm I have no idea what character lol)

and we made use of the free props to take some photos.

and come to think of it, this is like one of the few times that I had taken pictures together with Anna

lol. cos very stressed to take photo with your model leh. lol

it was quite a hot and sunny day despite it being the autumn season

I think these Minnie ears were one of the nicest I found, like with earrings lol. so cute!

and these furry headgears were so cute too! cannot resist taking pics in them haha

but they are like damn expensive?! like $50-$60 SGD?

but actually most of the rides were not very scary.

its always SUPER ANTI-CLIMAX.

like we’ll see that we are going up a slope so we expect a deep drop..

but its always a gentle drop.

and we will like prepare to scream like

” ahhhhhhh — then followed by EH?”

its always like AHHH then suddenly stopped. cos its not scary enough.

I think mummy from USS was scarier.

the scariest ride was the space mountain that had super long snaking queue?

that one almost made me vomit. because we had curry rice for lunch.

i totally forget that I shouldnt take such stuffs when I am supposed to take rides.

It was such a tiring and long day at Disney. my legs were breaking by the end of the day omg.

Majority of the time was spent waiting and waiting for the rides.

and i think we (I) fell asleep quite a few times while standing in the queues. lol

and I totally fell asleep when we had a chance to sit down at some Michael Jackson 3D show.

for a good 40mins. hahah. I was THAT tired.

At the end of the day, the main reason y I  wanted to visit Disney so that I can buy the super yummy cookies from there.

but I couldnt really find it and was so disappointed la.

I actually went to ask the sales assistant where I can find the caramel cookies and she pointed to a shop on the map

in which I frowned in disappointment.

Being the map idiot I am, I thought she was referring to somewhere way back near the rides

so  I gave up the idea of buying because our legs were breaking after one whole day.

It was until I showed Anna the map, then I realised

haha, the shop that the sales assistant was referring to was just somewhere opposite ehs.

which totally proved my point of being a map idiot. haha

ok so thats the end of my disney experience.

oh we had wanted to buy duffy back because almost EVERYONE was holding it and we thought it might be good to get one as an omiyage but cant find it at all.

we only found out the next day that it was available in disney sea. haha

On a side note, theres ASOS sale going on now!

and I got this in red!

ok I am back to the bad habit of buying a few colours for one design lol

but because this is really cheap now! and I know the quality is good.

so for about SGD68, why not right?

I bought the black one for $170 so this is definitely a steal! lol

and this although I dont know how I can use it except for photoshoots

but its too cheap to resist ! about SGD$10!

found out that SMAP went to Shanghai 2 days back.

looking at all the pictures of them in Shanghai really made me miss those Beijing days!

I am so damn irritated with the Chinese fans though.

SO SUPER LUCKY

and they take pictures of them right in their face.

原来为了一件很懊恼的事情作出了决定的那种心情是那么释怀的。

其实，有些时候我希望我做人能不要想那么多，看得开一点。

但，那对我而言真的很难。

这次我为这次所作出的决定感到开心。

希望能借助这次的休息，为接下来的这一年，做出更好的一些规划。

很期待这次的WWOOF之旅。

因为我可能可以学习种苹果！！

这次的目的地：

看到了他们的部落格和面薄，让我感到有所期待。

尤其看到下雪的情景更是让我感到非常兴奋。

希望即使是冬天，也能体验到一些种水果的经验。

这次也希望能再到“Rainbow Bridge”一趟。

3年前的冬天，第一次踏上了这一道对我颇有意义的彩虹桥。

随着冰冷的冬风，一步一步，踏上梦想中的这道桥。

我告诉自己我一定会再回来。

而这次，我只希望看着这道桥发呆，享受冬天刺骨的寒风。

真没想到这件外套会有重出江湖的一天。哈哈。

希望它没有变得很黄呀！

ok this thought came very randomly and I thought I will quickly pen down my thoughts

while I wait for the water for my instant noodle to boil.

What sparked off this thought of mine was a conversation that I had with my 大弟 5mins ago.

because I was going to cook instant noodles while I pia for my next launch,

I asked if he wants me to cook his share too.

He replied with a  “huh what 面？”

then I replied: “快熟面”

in which he simply replied with a “no”

and nothing else.

So I wondered why he cant reply me with a “No, thank you”

and thus it sparked off this blog title.

Everytime I buy something for the 2 of them ( Ok I have 2 younger brothers just FYI)

there is no thank you from them at all. be it food or clothes -_-

and thats when I always make it a point to buy them something from my overseas trip

and I have been doing it for the past few trips for them.

when I dont even buy it for my mother, father or for myself leh.

today I looked at a T-shirt that I bought for my brother,

and realised that eh what happened to those that I bought for him from HK?

I bet he totally cant remember that I bought things for him from HK lo

cos just like a few weeks back, he came up to me ” eh did you buy this for me?”

while pointing to some tee shirts that I bought for him last Jan / Feb from BKK

tell me how would you feel if you are in my shoes?

to think that when he actually asked me to buy a fred perry polo tee for him like 2 months back,

because he claimed that he got nothing to wear out.

I actually hesitated a while like if I should get it for him; and when I went to Taka recently and saw that it was on sale,

I almost bought it for him -_- when I dont even spend that amount of money for my own clothes.

That day somehow or rather as we were quarelling playfully over something,

I actually asked him this:

“你告诉我，在你心里其实你没有把我当作姐姐看待对吗？”

to which he gave a very sheepish and guilty smile, that somewhat told me

“aiyo, 被你看穿了”

to be honest, I was a little bit upset for a while.

but hais what to do? I think in their heart, they only have 1 elder sister.

cos I have only heard them saying 大姐 and never once 二姐 (unless when I force them to do so haa).

such is my 心酸。

and back to the topic of saying thank  you,

if you know me well , you will know that I am very particular about people saying thanks..

like I actually told my brother off everytime he never say thank you: 你很没有家教leh！

I actually went to ask my mother if she taught them to say thank you when they were young lo. hahaa.

Not that I am trying to 计较, but I feel this is basic human courtesy.

Like how lotsa of china people like to stop me while walking to ask me for directions,

not that I mind helping, but they ALWAYS walk off without saying anything after I directed them -_-

and I find this damn annoying.

where is the basic respect and courtesy?

I always make it a point to say thank you when needed;

I say it everytime to taxi uncles (except for those that were really rude to me)

With this, I end my random post on my brothers.

hahaha.

oh on a side note, I decided to immerse myself in the coldness

for the full period to save some money from changing the ticket dates.

and to take some time off to reorganise and plan for the year ahead.

and the most frustrating thing is, there was NO CONCLUSION to the meeting

so yes I just wasted 3 precious hours of mine when I should be working on the new launch that I had supposedly planned for tonight.

After trying to clear some mess, now I am feeling so drained and I have absolutely like 2% energy left to do my work.

I think this is signs of aging as well.

I can no longer work through the night for a new collection -__-

ahhhhh but I am still feeling so unjustified with the shitty stuffs we have to face

and my DSLR had to fail on me now!

my pocket is already burning a big hole now because of this whole whirlwheel of lousy shit that I am getting from them.

now my work tool have to fail on me.

in my last month of suay-ness, my laptop kinda of “spoilt” on me

I had to get a new laptop for the office.

and when one problem is solved.

another new one came.

NOW, I feel like going the entire period of the dates that I booked for Japan.

cos I reckon, if all the suay-ness started coming in after I came back from the previous Japan trip

then if I make a trip to Japan again, will the suayness go away?

like end it at where it started?

ok I am not making sense here.

 I was looking through the pictures we took in Japan for me new dress.

OMG I LOVE THEM TO MAX.

and looking at the pictures, I really have to thank Anna for braving the cold for me.

we were like totally gushing over them when they came..

I tried so hard to secretly snap the 2 boys when the mom went away..

but totally got caught when I showed anna the pictures on the camera, their mom walked right behind me.

and she asked me a question that even I found it ridiculous to answer to..

me:… speechless

but in my heart the OS went like this : Oh you have heard how I got cheated again by XXX

and now this had to happen.

my lesson learnt from this

never do anything out of desperation.

because it will definitely end up to be a stupid decision.

and yes like what I said, 2011 was really a year of BAD DECISIONS and lots of money losses.

I was just telling RX the other day,

why am I so suay ah?

I just wanted to make an honest living out of my own hard work,

and by hard work, its real hard work (everyday ok!)

but still got these kind of people out there trying to cheat people of their

HARD EARN MONEY.

which well I have only this to say,

if initially you dont protect yourself, setting your demands and standards

So I had to be fierce/stern/firm on what I wanted

which is why Jenny hated me then.

I had to do it if not she will climb over my head.

but hmm, after a period of time, gradually I became so much nicer

I must be fiercer in 2012 to protect myself.

And actually the other day when I was complaining over the phone to the screwed up company

I was a bit shocked how fierce I am.

the host that I contacted earlier on in end Sept have actually replied me!

and I didnt see it til now -__-

and the “best” thing is?

he requested for me to stay til 13th feb

which technically, is possible because its the day before my return flight.

but but, I wanna tour around tokyo and nagano abit..

and oh yes, I have chosen Nagano this time round instead of Sapporo

because I wanted somewhere nearer to Tokyo

and more importantly because I want to visit this place during the free day:
